Boo at the Zoo

This experience is a must for anyone who is a fan of the zoo and Halloween! It was my first time attending this past Friday evening. Although the event is geared toward kids, experiencing the zoo at night is fun for every age. Truly, the zoo lights are off! The glow of neon light displays or gigantic blow up figures are the only things illuminating your path.

Of course, there is plenty to see during the day. You can pop over to any number of animal enclosures and watch them watch you...

There is food galore available for all, including plenty of snacks...

You can stop and enjoy the scary music and smoke filled displays...

In addition to free special 4D theater experience, train rides and grabbing candy from the Trick or Treat snack street, you can burn off some calories at the Monster Mash Dance Party.

Or take a spin on the carousel...which, when lit up with neon lights at night, is a wild ride.

The overall experience was pleasurable and a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the week.
